Go Laadli

SECTOR: Nonprofit Organization

Go Laadli seeks to address gender inequity and the severe under-representation of women in leadership positions throughout India by investing in young girls’ education and empowering them to become problem solvers, leaders, and change-makers.

I began with consulting on developing their brand strategy, which resulted in creating core brand assets and guidelines, a template system, and social guidelines for volunteers to follow. I have also designed their impact report and provide ongoing consultation on campaigns aimed at increasing the visibility of the organization and engagement of the girls.

I am proud to contribute to Go Laadli’s mission of furthering young women’s education and realizing their leadership potential.

Corona Warrior Campaign

Go Laadli Founder, Heera Sharma, normally would be kicking off her Lead Like A Girl Challenge program in May. With the schools being closed and the girls sheltering at home due to the global pandemic, she needed to find another way to engage the girls with a challenge they could accomplish at home with limited resources. She came up with the Corona Warrior Challenge that encouraged participants to help their communities to flatten the curve by getting creative and submitting short videos communicating Covid-19 facts. The selected winners received a scholarship to put toward their education.

I designed banners to leverage social media and email to reach the girls across India.
